We manufacture modern fitted kitchens, which meet the highest requirements regarding quality, functionality, durability and design. Here at Blax we are proud to be able to offer these beautiful kitchens that will be part of your family. Every piece of the kitchen is German-made and manufactured in Rödinghause, Germany.
The Modernity collection is clear and functional in appearance, with a modern aesthetic. The forefronts are clear structures with fronts to loosen up the overall appearance, as well as many colour variations.
Below we will take a look at a few of designs from the Modernity collection, with some of our projects finished in these designs, in a range of different colours and textures.
Polar White High Gloss
The Polar White High Gloss finish is a pure, elegant and clean finish which is fresh and ultramodern in appearance. High Gloss kitchens offer a way to give your kitchen a polished and luxurious finish, by reflecting natural and artifical light.
The Polar White colour is crisp and looks great as a handleless style, offering an inviting style that is absolutely stunning.
Below is a great example of the Polar White matt featured in a project we completed in Totteridge, London. Our client’s preference was a two-tone design scheme with the island acting as the main focal point. The island provides the kitchen space with an elegant area, and brings a new dynamic to the kitchen’s appearance.
Lava Grey Matt
The Lava Grey Matt finish provides a smooth almost tactile texture to the kitchen units and surfaces, without the shine and deep reflections found in a high gloss finish. They are a popular choice and successfully create subtle, understated kitchen designs. The colour is a strong, mid-grey tone that gives the kitchen a perfect setting with modern design aesthetics.
Below is a great example of how we used the Lava Grey as a backdrop to the Polar White in our project in Totteridge, London. The sleek grey works perfectly against the white aesthetics of this kitchen, and provides a modern hub of the home.
Satin style kitchens are the inbetween of a gloss and matt kitchen. The finish is smooth and silky that still makes the room feel light and airy just like a high gloss finish.
Taupe is often referred to as ‘greige’ and is a warm blend of neutral grey and beige tones. The warmth and beauty of the Taupe colour creates a kitchen look that is sleek and contemporary.
Below is a perfect example of the Taupe satin handleless kitchen style in London. The project we completed in Edgware was created in a newly renovated space with a unique mix of Hacker Grey Pine and Taupe Satin. Siemens appliances were added with a Quooker boiling tap to provide a professional chef-like kitchen.
Cashmere High Gloss
The Cashmere high gloss is a beautiful colour that transforms a kitchen into a relaxing space with its neutral and calming tone. It is modern and stylish, with practical elements. High Gloss kitchens are one of the most popular kitchen styles around today with its streamlined and sleek appearance, and this colour certainly works well in modern times.
Below is a great example of this warm and inviting space we created in a home in Watford, Herts. We utilised the available space with a long base cabinet run, large breakfast bar, and a single bank of wall units that houses the fridge freezer and Siemens ovens. A bright yellow splashback adds a pop of colour to the light aesthetics and provides an instant style.
White High Gloss
High Gloss cabinets are a stylish, clean and modern kitchen design, with white being a firm favourite. A White High Gloss design is very popular in today’s kitchen styles with it being a vesatile colour to suit all preferences.
Below is a beautiful example of the White High Gloss mixed with a Matt Grey to create a cool and stylish feel. We created this look in a project in Hatfield, Herts. It is a large open-plan space where the island acts as a divider and provides a great entertaining area. We also carried the design through to the utility room.
